Dr. Mako Kurane began her education at Tokyo Dental College, and she obtained her Japanese dental license. After graduating from dental school, she specialized in periodontology and gained clinical experience at the university hospital. As a dentist from Japan aspiring to become a periodontist in the U.S., Mako is dedicated to advancing her career through both clinical practice and research.
Outside of dentistry, Mako loves spending time with her cat, and watching movies and musicals. She also finds joy in travelling and discovering beautiful places around the world.
